Dawn patrol looks different for everyone.

Sometimes it’s a paddle out before sunrise. Sometimes it’s the first tee time of the day. Sometimes it’s a quiet hour in the workshop before everything else begins.

Retro Sunrise brings that feeling to brass: a warm horizon, rolling bands of water and a palette pulled from the first light of a coastal morning. On the reverse, RISE AND GRIND stands proud as a reminder that getting where you want to go starts with showing up.

Each marker begins as solid brass and is deeply engraved to create individual fields across the sunrise and water. Multiple enamel colors are worked into the recessed sections by hand, then cured before the face is carefully worked back to reveal the brass lines separating each color.

The reverse takes a different approach. The surrounding field is engraved away, leaving RISE AND GRIND standing proud in bare brass. The result is two distinct sides of the same idea: the calm of first light and the work it takes to meet it.

Made in small batches. Because every marker is filled and finished by hand, slight variations in color and finish are part of the process.

The sun comes up either way. Might as well meet it.
