The Lightning marker is inspired by the forces that shape life along the coast. A bold lightning bolt cuts through a field of repeating wave patterns, capturing the connection between distant storms and the swells they send across the ocean.
Every wave starts as energy. Wind transfers that energy to the sea, creating swells that can travel thousands of miles before finally breaking along a shoreline. The design reflects that relationship—a meeting point between atmosphere and ocean, power and motion.
Crafted from solid brass and precision laser engraved, the marker combines a bold central form with the rhythm and texture of traditional wave patterns. The recessed background creates depth and contrast, allowing the lightning bolt to remain the focal point while the waves provide the foundation beneath it.
